ROOF PROJECT UPDATE: The roofing project is well under way.  The good weather has helped.  God always seems to take care of us here at St. Joseph’s.

WEEKDAY SCHEDULE: Most likely, Tuesday and Wednesday will be held at St. Michael's.  Thursday and Friday might be able to be held here if roofing is completed.


  • Olivia Scarlett, for receiving First Honors at St. Ursula Academy. Olivia is the daughter of Robert & Christine Scarlett.
  • Paul Linder, for receiving First Honors at Central Catholic High. Paul is the son of Dr. Brian and Kim Linder.
THANK YOU’S:  We have received Thank You’s for our donations to Padua Center, Assumption Outreach, Foundation for Life, Heartbeat of Toledo and Women Blessing Women & St. Thomas More Parish.  They stressed that our support is most needed during these economic times and our donations are most appreciated and gratifying.  They say, “ Blessings to you Father and the Good People of St. Joseph’s Parish!”

PARISH DONATION:  This week a check for $875.74 has been sent to Salem Lutheran Church.  This church is just a few blocks from us and they serve the people of this neighborhood.  They have a food outreach and this money will be used to feed these people.  This money is what is given in the Poor Basket in the back of church after every Mass.  Your $1 and $5 bills do add up and in this way we can provide for the poor of the neighborhood.

MONASTERY OF THE VISITATION will hold a Holy Hour at the Monastery located at 1745 Parkside Blvd at 4:00 P.M. Sunday July 5th.  Celebrant will be Fr. Joseph Poggemeyer for  Evening Prayers, Rosary, Homily and Benediction.  All are welcome.

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT ENVELOPES: Capital Improvement envelopes, for our extraordinary repairs, are in the back of the church on the radiators next to the bulletins.
