ABORTION: A Vision for future:  “By seeking holiness and using the gifts God has given us to accomplish His will in our lives, we are contributing mightily to that kingdom we all long for, where there will be no more crying or pain or death.  Certainly no abortion.  No euthanasia.  No assisted suicide.  No deep freezing of embryos as though they were merchandise.  And no destruction of human life in the name of science.”  Cardinal Justin Rigali, 1/21/08
Suggested Prayer: That families may by word and example teach their children that each and every human life deserves respect, we pray.

A NOTE FROM FR. POGGEMEYER: Dear Parishioners,  Thank You very much for your generosity to me in this season, and in fact throughout the year.  I wish all of you a very Blessed Christmas season and New Year.  May the graces of the Incarnation streaming from the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass in this coming year help us all to live more fully in accord with Him whom we receive in the Mass.  Sunday evening through Wednesday morning I will be in Wichita, KS, helping a former student with the Tridentine Mass.  Thank you for your prayers for this effort.

CHESTERTON SOCIETY: January 4, 2010, Party!  Come and see what the fuss is all about!  The only requirements are that you are silly and wise, talkative and relaxed and wonder everyday (or would like to be able to) at this Fairy Land of existence.  Facebook group Toledo Chesterton Society or for more info contact Therese Eby at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. ENVELOPES are in the vestibule. Please take yours.
